De grote blauwe bloem is zelfgemaakt.
Alle bloemen heb ik beneveled met mijn zelfgemaakte shimmer.
Helaas door gebrek aan zon :( niet op de foto te zien.

Ruby's Rainbow

Mijn eerste post als trotse Design Team lid van Ruby's Rainbow Challenges

Hier hebben wij iedere 2 weken een nieuwe challenge.

Thema voor deze challenge is Pasen.

My first post as proud Design Team member of Ruby's Rainbow Challenges.

We have a new challenge every 2 weeks.

Theme for this challenge : Easter

Materialen/Materials:

Cardstock lila, Design papier, hobby papier geel, bloemen, meeldraadjes, waterverf, distress markers/navul, bloesem takjes, geel lint/kant, hoek stans, glimmers, chalks, inkt.

Cardstock lilac, design paper, hobby paper yellow, flowers, stamen, aquarel paint, distress markers/refills, blossom twigs, yellow ribbon/lace, corner die, shimmers/sparkles, chalks, ink.

Colours:

Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Weathered Wood, Dusty Concord, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, Antique Linen.

Parelmoer/Pearl chalks

Groen/green en blauw/blue

Deze heb ik gebruikt om het gras en wolken te kleuren.

These I used to colour the grass and clouds.

Vlinder gemaakt van een witte bloem met 5 petals, 1 blaadje omgevouwen en vastgelijmd, zodat er 4 overblijven., vervolgens 1 dubbelgevouwen meeldraadje eraan vastgelijmd.

Gekleurd met paarse waterverf en bestrooid met wat glimmers.

Butterfly made of a 5 petal flower, I've folded 1 petal and glued it to the back,  so 4 petals remain.

Next I've folded 1 stamen and attached it to the back.

Painted the butterfly with purple aquarel paint and added some shimmers.

 

De bloemen.

De grotere bloemen heb ik bestrooid met wat glimmers, de kleinere waren wit en die heb ik wederom geverfd met de paarse waterverf en vervolgens ook bestrooid met glimmers.

The flowers,

The bigger flowers I've sprinkled with some shimmers, the smaller ones are white flowers which I've painted purple with the aquarel paint and then sprinkled with shimmers.

Voor de lucht heb heb ik blauwe inkt gebruikt en voor het zand heb ik het eerst

beinkt met sienna en vervolgens wat van het hobby zand eroverheen gestrooid.

For the air I used blue ink, for the sand I've inked it with sienna and next spread

some hobby sand over it.

Dit klavertje is gemaakt van 4 geponsde hartjes, in het midden dubbel gevouwen en weer geopend,

 vervolgens op een klein rondje geplakt en een plak steentje erop.

Clover is made of 4 punched hearts, made a fold in the middle and opend again.

After that I've glued them onto a small circle and finished them with a flatback

Het lint is in de rechterboven hoek tot strikje gemaakt, de rest is als frame eromheen geplakt.

De charm komt van een ketting die ik voor €1,00 heb gekocht en vol zat met deze kleine verschillende

kleuren steentjes. De bloemen heb ik gekleurd met zelfgemaakte glimmermist.

I've made a small bow of the ribbon and placed that in the upper rightcorner, the rest of the ribbon goes around the image like a frame. The charm I took of a necklace which I bought for €1,00 and was filled with these little stones in different colours. De flowers are coloured with my selfmade glimmer mist.

Love to Scrap

Vandaag gaat er een nieuw challenge blog van start genaamd Love to Scrap.

Ik vind het erg leuk dat ik deel mag uitmaken van het Design Team.

Deze foto is ook alweer wat jaartjes oud maar vond het zo'n lieve foto, dat ik toch besloot om deze in te lijsten. Nu is een simpele fotolijst natuurlijk niet voldoende voor mijn prinsesje dus ging ik op pad 

voor lint en kant.

De volgende foto's zijn niet zo geweldig, maar ik ben 's avonds aan het knutselen geweest dus de belichting was niet zo goed, maar het laat een beetje zien hoe ik te werk ging.

This picture is already a few years old but I still love it, so I decided to frame it. Now ofcourse a simple frame isn't enough for my little princess so I went out to find me some ribbon and lace.

The next pictures aren't that great because I've been crafting in the evening, so the lights are horrible. However it will show some steps of the process.
