Baby Blog Hop with Oddball Art

so sorry for bein late with my hop

Challenge #92 - Christmas Time

Here's the sketch

As I'm busy makin my christmas cards for this year, the theme was a perfect fit.

Here's my card

MATERIALS:

Craft paper, doily, ribbon, foam tape, studio light 3d die cut paperpad, distress ink, pearl chalks

The entire card is covered with shimmers, unfortunately you can not see it on the photo.

Because I'm using lots of glitters and shimmers lately, I'm thinkin of gettin myself some education on photography, I want to be able to photograph the shimmers on my projects :P

Sweet Pea Stamps closing

Good morning,

Unfortunately this will be my last post as Sweet Pea Stamps dt member.

The shop will close on november 25th and boy am I goin to miss this fabulous design team and

amazing boss lady Lynette

For my finishing project I have used the image Mistletoe Kiss by Teresa Sherman.

Good morning everyone,

There's still some time left to enter our second Lemon Shortbread Anything Goes challenge

You do not have to use a Lemon Shortbread image, but if you do and are picked winner by random org, you receive 4 instead of 3 Lemon Shortbread images.

For this first challenge I have used

As the image kind of tells, I've made a Christmas card

 

MATERIALS:

Studio Light 3d die cut block Winter Memories, 3 sizes of foamtape, distress stains, Albrecht Durer pencils, glitter pens (action), copic spica's, distress ink pad gathered twigs, sequins, pearl chalks

It's hard to see, but if you look closely you can see the glitters here and there

CHRISTMAS GLITTER SHOUJO 

I have covered the entire image with pearl chalks, it's not easy to capture that on camera, but it looks so awesome. When you move the card a bit, it's so full of shimmers.

Good evening,

As I was browsing the net and had a look at a few dt calls, I ended up on the Paper Creator's Crafts website.

Love their kits and the images by Sassy Cheryl Illustrations are adorable, so I just have to give it a try.

However, as I do volunteers work at my nan's elderly home, I have been crafting all day already.

So time to do something else.

I had a look at the Paper Creator's shop, you can find it HERE and the Scruffy Santa Bear Ultimate Kit instantly caught my eye.

He's soooo cute and the papers are gorgeous.

After my instant download of the kit, I launched my paint shop pro

In combination with sketch #294 from Sweet Sunday Sketch, I have created this digital christmas card

Im not sure the sentiment on this card is valid to enter the Digitally 'Sweet' Challenge #144, but I do want to try, so I've entered their challenge as well

Oddball Art Co Facebook Challenge September

Good evening everyone.

It is time for a new facebook challenge over at our Oddball Art Facebook Group

The theme is always anything, but you MUST use an Oddball Art Stamp

I am workin on my junk journals using an old book as cover.

Here's the cover I am using

 

 Thecover will be decorated, but I'll show you that finished project, next time

I've already added 3 segments in there, so heres a front and top view

 

Here's a view of the inside cover and first segment

Each segment has at least 2 lined double pages that are coffee dyed, 2 adult coloring pages, 2 text book pages, 6 coffee dyed double blanc pages, 1 double paged craft wrapping paper, 1 fruit paper bag, 1 smaller paper bag, 1 parchment/wax paper bag/envelop, 1 little brown envelope
