Scribble and Scrap Challenge #30


A new challenge launched today over at Scribble & Scrap
Theme as always Anything Goes, so there's no excuse to not participate.

Last week I made a card, so this week it was time for something 3d again.
After the lantern from 2 weeks ago, I figured, I could do something with a wooden tealight holder.
Don't worrie, it has glass on the inside. besides, I'm using a fake tealight:P

So here is my make

MATERIALS:
wooden tealight holder (action) , Sweet Pea Stamps Will-O and the Wisps, colouring pencils, Creative Expressions Gilding Wax Golden Light/Enchanted Gold/Patina, acrylic thingie for her forehead

As you can see on the photo's, I have used the Creative Expressions Gilding Wax again.
So after sniffen for 5 minutes, I rubbed the edges and corners with Golden Light.
Step 2, Enchanted Gold &
Step 3, Patina to give it a bit more weathered look

Im realy happy with how it turned out

(can you see the little mock up for not havin enough ink on my stamp?)
I have cloured her with Faber Castell's, van Gogh's and Caran d'Ache colouring pencils

    This is absolutely beautiful, Angelique. About your 'sniffing'...did you do this before or after you did the colouring? If it was before I might give it a try to see if it improves things, lol. Fab colouring and great project. Love, love, love it.
