We have a new challenge up and running over at our
This challenge we're sponsored by
LEANN'S WORLD 101
I've made another page for my art journal and this time I used a part of the image called
De background I've made with a siliconmat (used the back), mines from dr. oetker.
I had this mat for years, when my kids we're still small I sometimes would bake cakes and decorate them. That's why I had the mat.On facebook someone said she used a siliconmat as a cheap alternative for a gelly plate, I just had to try. So I went on hands and knees to find this one all the way in the back of my kitchen cupboard
Here are a 2 backgrounds I've made with it and I must say, it works just perfectly
The bottom one is the one I used for this project.
I was realy happy with the colours yet, so I added two more layers of paint over it and because it picked up some of the left over paint from the previous print you can find that back on the final background.
The rest of the background is done by using a few different stamps and various inks.
The butterflies are colored using neocolor IIThe border was directly stamped on the page, so to make the coloring solid, I've used posca pens
Text I found with google, printed and glued down.
The image was colored using copics and fuzzy cut.
Thank you for dropping by
